Custom Workshops and Services

Ginger Stemme, Current Resource Center Director is available to do a workshop on Families All Matter curriculum and on the use of children's literature for faith based and value based education.

In addition to the above offerings, Rhonda Pittman Gingrich, outgoing Director of the Resource Center is (and will continue to be) available to lead workshops in local congregations. She has experience leading workshops on a variety of topics:

  • Educational Ministry/Christian Education
  • Nurturing Faith in the Home
  • Ministry with Children
  • Including Children in Worship
  • Ministry with the Millennial Generation
  • Intergenerational Ministry
  • Classroom Management/Discipline
  • Multiple Intelligences
  • Curriculum Review and Selection
  • Jr. High Ministry
  • Youth Ministry

Rhonda is a trained facilitator for a parallel thinking method developed by Dr. Edward de Bono which makes use of six thinking hats. This process can be helpful for groups facing controversial issues or major decisions or groups engaged in long range planning.

In addition, ex staff member Rhonda Gingrich and volunteers are prepared to lead your congregation through an educational needs assessment process. This process, developed by Rhonda Pittman Gingrich in cooperation with former board members, Gail Barker (Synod of Lakes and Prairies, PCUSA) and Len Kragness (Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota) can help you

    • create an individualized statement of purpose for you educational program;
    • develop and prioritize a list of learning needs;
    • identify target groups;
    • create an action plan for moving toward your goals;
    • outline training for your teachers; and
    • provide specific learning resources for the needs you have identified.

As a result, your congregation will know and be committed to a common vision and shared goals for nurturing persons toward an integrated faith through education. Fees for the needs assessment consultations are based on length.

The cost for Rhonda's services as a workshop leader is $50/hour plus expenses. Contact the Resource Center and your contact information will be forwarded to Rhonda.
