- This Nooma looks at the issue of suffering and justice. DVD's are popular. We have been acquiring a lot since 2005. Search the online catalog by format to get a complete list. Go to: online catalog and pick DVD under the format choice. NOTE: We also have some good VHS materials and a player available if you have a need for one. Usage and Handling Fees There is a charge for use of most DVDs. The charge is designed to cover the shipping charges and help with some of our replacement or collection development costs. The charges range from $6.00 to $70.00 depending upon the number of sessions, the original cost of the DVD, and whether we incur ongoing expense to license titles. Most single use DVD's cost $10.00 to rent and we try to keep multi-session DVD's to a cost of $5 - $8. Some of the most popular DVD's include those put out by the company Living the Question and titles include: Saving Jesus, Living the Questions, Living the Questions 2, Countering Phaoroah's Production Consumption Society, and more. These are examples of expensive DVD's that you can rent for $5.00 per session or less. We maintain the ongoing licensure for the right to download additional leader's guides and support materials. No usage fee is charged for videos placed in the Resource Center by partner denominations to describe missions and/or leadership initiatives; however, we will charge you for the actual cost of shipping.

Preview Policy You are always welcome to preview a video or DVD resource, either at the Resource Center or off premises, before reserving it. There is no charge to preview a video at the Resource Center. If you wish the preview a video or DVD off-site, the charge will be $1.50 (plus shipping and handling if applicable). Because many of our video and DVD resources are used quite frequently, it is important that they be returned in a timely manner (within 10 days for previews). If resources checked-out for preview are not returned within the alotted time, you will be charged the full usage and handling fee.
