Location and Contact Information The Resource Center for Churches is located in the basement of the Minnesota Church Center, at the intersection of Franklin and Pillsbury Avenues in Minneapolis (122 West Franklin Avenue). You can access the parking lot from Pillsbury Avenue. Although the parking is gated and requires an exit code, it is free. Feel free to drop in or make an appointment to visit the Resource Center. TO THE MINNESOTA CHURCH CENTER From 394: Take the Dunwoody/Hennepin Exit. Go south on Hennepin Avenue (or Lyndale Avenue when they split) to Franklin. Turn left or east on Franklin. The Church Center is on the left, on the corner of Franklin and Pillsbury. (If you get to Nicollet you've gone to far; the Church Center is two blocks west of Nicollet.) From 94 East or West: Take the Hennepin/Lyndale Exit. Go south on either Hennepin or Lyndale to Franklin. Turn left or east on Franklin. The Church Center is on the left, on the corner of Franklin and Pillsbury. (If you get to Nicollet you've gone too far; the Church Center is two blocks west of Nicollet.) Parking is available in the lot behind the building. You can access this lot off of Pillsbury. From 35W South: Go west on 694 and east on 94 to the Hennepin/Lyndale Exit or take 280 South and proceed west on 94 to the Hennepin/Lyndale Exit and proceed as above. From 35 W North: Take 94 west to the Hennepin/Lyndale Exit and proceed as above. It is a gated lot, but as long as it is not full, when you pull up to the gate, it will open automatically. Parking in this lot is free. You will need a code to exit the lot; tiny slips of paper with the code on them are available at the reception desk on the first floor. If the lot happens to be full, there is ample parking available on neighboring streets. Obey all posted signs; they do tow cars parked illegally on the streets around the building. Sometimes overflow parking is available at Plymouth Congregational Church (on the corner of Franklin and Nicollet); if this is an option, this will be noted on a sign posted at the entrance of our lot. |
